Get a Library Card
Applying for a new library card is easy and only takes a few minutes. You will need to visit the library in person and present identification and proof of your current address (if that on your ID is not current). Also, if you are under the age of 18, you will need to have a parent or guardian come to the library with you to sign your application as the responsible adult.
A temporary card can be applied for online.

Try the library's text messaging service. Get texts when items are due, holds are ready to pick up and more. text the word SIGNUP to 833-568-7242. Reply to the messages from Shoutbomb with your library card number and PIN.
Home Delivery Service
Home Delivery Service provides free library servicesto the homebound or living in a residence facility. Residents of the Village of Oakfield who are unable to come to the library due to physical limitations are eligible for this service.
Devices and other items to Check-out
The library owns items and devices that you can take home including kilowatt meter.
Printing Services
B& W prints or copies are ten cents.
Color prints or copies are 15 cents.
Downloadable ebooks and audiobooks
Do you have an eReader, tablet, smartphone, or computer? You can download FREE ebooks and audiobooks from the library using the Wisconsin Digital Library.
Interlibrary Loan
The library can try to find materials not owned locally and can request they be loaned to you from another library. Delivery of materials may take a minimum of three weeks.
Proctoring Services
We provide proctoring services free of charge for both written and online examinations.
Recommend Materials
Suggest the title of a book, movie, CD, or other item that you think the library should purchase.
Teacher Services
Oakfield Public Library offers special cards and collections to make gathering and checking out materials easier for teachers.
