Where can you read a book, exercise, and enjoy our community's beautiful park? At the library's StoryWalk® in Acorn Park.
StoryWalks® are books displayed page-by-page along a trail or path and are a fun way for families to enjoy the outdoors and read at the same time. Begin your adventure at the Main Street Park entrance.
The StoryWalk project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont, to get families involved in physical activity and to introduce young children to reading. Our project was made possible through donations from area organizations and businesses as well as individuals. The featured book will change monthly.
Head outside and enjoy a story, some exercise, and beautiful Acorn Park.
Kathy Heinzelman, of Oakfield enjoys the StoryWalk with her grandchildren.
